𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽:
In recent years Territorial Land Acknowledgements have begun to become commonplace at public events and meetings. In this conversation, we’ll explore the sentiments behind acknowledging Land and why it is important to do this in a meaningful, intentional way. Hear from two artists, Evan Matchett-Wong and Anna Marie Sewell, about how they acknowledge Land through their artistic practice and what advice they have for other creatives. Together, we’ll learn that a simple, well crafted, written acknowledgement is not an example of reconciliation but living and working in ways that honour the Land is.

Speakers:
Evan Matchett-Wong
Anna Marie Sewell
