The couple has two children, and Heming also said, “I don't want there to be any stigma or shame attached to their dad's diagnosis or for any form of dementia.” Willis also has three elder daughters from his marriage with Demi Moore, who has also spoken about her former husband’s diagnosis and the challenges it carries for the family. Willis’s family announced his condition in February. In the statement, they explain that the disease is “cruel” and that many are unfamiliar with it. It typically deteriorates behavior, personality, and language. This type of dementia is that which impacts the most amount of people under the age of 60. And it’s got to come from the grassroots level. It’s gotta come from the filmmakers themselves. I do think that the manufactured content isn’t really cinema. It’s almost like AI making a film. And that doesn’t mean that you don’t have incredible directors and special effects people doing beautiful artwork. But what does it mean? What do these films, what will it give you? Aside from a kind of consummation of something and then eliminating it from your mind, your whole body, you know? So what is it giving you? You gotta say something with a movie. Otherwise, what’s the point of making it? You’ve got to be saying something.”
