It’s out with the Baddie Melt and IN with the Bison Frico BBQ Smashburger! We were lucky enough to purchase bison meat from Whiterock Comservancy, a 5,500-acre nonprofit land trust right here in Iowa. Two patties of Iowa-raised bison cooked on griddled cheddar, with onions and peppers and thousand island dressing on a homemade brioche bun … need we say more?! And that’s not even the best part: we’re giving $2 back to Whiterock for every burger sold. Get these burgers hot and fresh at our Iowa City, Solon, and Des Moines locations!
Baddie alert 🚨 You gotta come try the Baddie Melt, a mouth-watering patty melt made with Iowa-raised bison from our friends at @Whiterock Conservancy ! They’re a nonprofit land trust in Coon Rapids dedicated to providing educational and recreational opportunities. This sandwich is the first iteration of our bison food adventure, and it’s available now in our Solon, Iowa City, and Des Moines taprooms. Oh, and $2 from every sale will go back to Whiterock to support their mission. #iowacheck

It’s Black History Month! To celebrate in Iowa City, DaVonté, a dedicated kitchen staff member, came up with the great idea to serve up some traditional dishes. We have fried catfish with house-made hot sauce, pork collard greens, and cornbread with hot honey ready for you THIS Friday and Saturday the 24th and 25th. Profits are heading to the University of Iowa Afro House, which was founded in 1968 with the intention of establishing a space for Black students from different cultural backgrounds. Come get a plate!
