It's the end of the school year. Mix things up! Check-in with how your students are doing with something other than, "How are you?".
Go around the classroom, and ask each student to share a response using one of these 6 prompts:

"The hardest part of my day was..."
"The easiest part of my day was..."
"Tomorrow I will..."
Taking a few minutes to ask students to share a reflection prevents bullying and targeted violence by building empathy, trust, and social connectedness among learning community members.
