Beginners Guide to Chin Upsπͺ SAVE THIS POST!
Ever wanted to do a chin up but you just don't know where to start? I've got you! Follow my chin up progression and build your way to a perfect chin up!
1. Active to passive hangs:
Pull up grip bar (overhand) pull shoulders down away from ears to activate lats and core then release and repeat.
2. Soaring eagles:
Rotate palms out as you roll your shoulder forward, rotate palms in as you pull shoulders back.
3. Ring chin up - assisted:
Using feet on the ground to support, activate lats by pulling shoulders back and down. Core braced and pull chest up, slowly lower whole body down then pull yourself up to bring chin to ring.
4. Negative ring chin up:
Pull chin to rings with support of your legs. Then hand with feet off the ground, activate lats and core and slowly lower yourself down.
5. Neutral to chin up grip pulls:
Start with palms facing each other, lats and core active pull chin up to rings as you lift, twist palms to face you.

Relieve your back pain with these simple and effective exercises.
1. Adductor rocks
2. Adductor leg lif
3. Split stance cat cow
4. pigeon pose with glute activation and lift
5. Thread the needle
all 5 of these exercises are based on unlocking and activating your hips so your back releases it's tension.
Do each exercise 10 to 15 times each side. Make sure you keep an engaged core throughout each movement.
