It’s Mod Mondays where I show you modified exercises to help you get up and moving no matter where you are on your fitness or recovery journey. Today I wanted to share a couple of modified stretches that I have done to help me with tight hip flexors after spending weeks immobilized and recovering from surgery.
These stretches will not only open up your hip flexors, they will help to improve your circulation and posture as well as increase flexibility and alleviate hip and lower back pain.
You can do these stretches when you wake up or when going to bed. Remember to breathe through your movements and hold each pose for ten seconds or however long you can tolerate.
