We decided to read every comment posted so far in response to the Vancouver Sun's coverage of our latest report on prayers at inaugural meetings of BC municipalities. It turns out, the kind of people who leave comments on a newspaper's website are the kind of people complain a lot about land acknowledgements.
Replying to @escat12345 We mean overt Christian prayers to Jesus, like this one from Parksville that's blatantly unconstitutional. We identified 7 communities with prayers, 6 were purely Christian like this, the other was Vancouver's 13 minute multifaith theistic prayer. #prayer #prayertok #secularism
