Less than one month left to nominate a shareholder for BBNC's 2023 Shareholder of the Year awards!
Individuals and organizations can submit nominations for:
- Elder of the Year
- Citizen of the Year
- Marie Paul Student of the Year
- Small Business of the Year
Nominees may show a commitment to promoting the economic and social well-being of Alaska Natives, show active political involvement in either city/village, region, or state, and/or make other contributions benefitting the overall lifestyles of Bristol Bay people.
Each awardee receives a recognition plaque, honorarium, and a trip to the 2023 BBNC Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
The nomination deadline is Friday, July 21, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. Alaska time. Learn more and nominate a shareholder at the link in our bio!

Be sure to make your voice heard in the upcoming Anchorage municipal election on Tuesday, April 4!
This is a vote-by-mail election, so you should have received a ballot in your mailbox earlier this month. After you fill out your ballot, you can mail it back (be sure to include TWO forever stamps), place it in a secure drop box (no postage needed), or take it to the Anchorage Vote Center (AVC).
Over half of the Anchorage Assembly seats, two Anchorage School Board seats, and 15 ballot propositions are on the ballot this year.
If you did not receive a ballot in the mail, please call (907) 243-8683.
