On 25 September 2023, Asia Centre and Radio Taiwan International signed an MoU to establish media partnership between both organisations.
The MoU was the outcome of the first initial meeting between both organisations at the Rti headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan, on 11 September 2023 and following it, the successful partnership between Asia Centre and Rti during the recent Taiwan Forum in Bangkok organised by Rti on 22 February 2023.

Asia Centre, in collaboration with Japan NGO Center for International Cooperation, launched the report “Foreign Interference Laws in Southeast Asia: Deepening the Shrinkage of Civic Space”.

From 9-10 May 2023, Asia Centre and The International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL) are co-convening a 2-day regional conference, "Internet Freedoms in Southeast Asia (IFSEA)." The conference gathers regional CSOs, independent media, UN agencies, and parliamentarians to encourage further dialogue and action around the development of strategies to improve internet freedoms in Southeast Asia.
