Hey y’all! So I had the pleasure of meeting this lovely bride to be who is getting married soon! This was her bridal consultation and trial run where we discussed her expectations, and created her wedding day look. As you can see she has some hyperpigmentation in which I lost the footage of the process where I did some color correction to ensure her finished look was polished and there was no signs of discoloration. Ultimately she was happy with the results! I’m happy to be working with her on her BIG DAY! 🤗

Just Do It!
When I launched my store in March this year, I was incredibly thrilled as it marked the realization of a long-held dream. However, this excitement was short-lived, mainly due to a series of pivotal lessons I learned from my inaugural brick-and-mortar venture. Firstly, I made a significant misstep by signing a triple net lease agreement, which made me responsible for virtually all expenses, essentially resembling ownership.

Secondly, my store’s proximity to other businesses became an issue when one of them struggled with pest problems stemming from their lack of cleanliness. This unforeseen situation added to my challenges.

Lastly, while the location made sense from a financial perspective, I discovered that some of the foot traffic did not align with my target market for high-end custom wigs, resulting in less-than-ideal customer interactions.

In retrospect, I’ve gained invaluable insights from this experience that will inform my future business decisions.

Sometimes things may not always go as planned and maybe God has a different plan. Nonetheless, I’m determined to keep going, learning, and growing through every twist and turn. 💪🏽😊
