I don’t often paint landscapes…at all!
Which is a crying shame really. It’s something I’d personally like to get better at, and the only way to do that is with practice.
I think that’s recently been a mind shift I’ve had. The only way I’ll do things like getting better at regularly using a sketchbook, get more videos of my art out in the world, paint more etc…is to do it! Seems so simple but I’ve really tried to re-frame things recently and get out of my own way when it comes to things I’d like to achieve.
This was a lovely time to paint. I love my grandparents garden so much. Though my Nan may be horrified that it’d painted a scene of it just coming out of winter and some of the plants aren’t looking their best. But I love those greens and bright blues so much. 💚💙
