Wrong 🤣 they’re SUPER important!!! Promise!!⁣
⁣
However, I truly think engagement photos are more organic and timeless because;⁣
⁣
✿ you don’t have the added stress of a wedding! Even with the best planners in the world, there will always be even a little emotional stress on a wedding day.⁣
⁣
✿ you’re likely wearing clothing that feels more “you”! The everyday look, or the nicer outfit is far more common for you than a wedding gown + tux. ⁣
Therefore- they’ll feel more like you!⁣
⁣
After getting married last year, to this day I prefer our engagement photos when it comes to printing, profile pics, iPhone lock screens, etc!! Because they still feel like us then, and now! The wedding day album is also so incredibly special, but we don’t look like that everyday, so I don’t find myself nearly as likely to use them everyday!⁣
⁣
ALL this to say- don’t pass up on the opportunity to really get excited about the engagement session!!! Repeat a first date, try something new, and just be YOU! It will last a lifetime 🫶🏼

I always say make the MOST of it ✨ whether that’s pizza, ice cream, a penny board ride, classy cocktails, or a jump in a pond, the engagement season can SO often be rushed through with the wedding at the end of the finish line 🏁 .
