No. 3 is the most common one I see at the moment and if you have active acne, its vital you change these! #skincaremistakes #cleansingyourskin #cleansingtips #cleansingmistakes #badskincare #skincarethatworks #skincaretips #skincareschool #skincarehelp #petersfield #hampshire #skintok #fyp @Allaboutskinstudio

These are all optional and not essential!!
All you ever need to do is cleanse, moisturise and SPF, the rest are nice to do’s or skin specific concern products (like acne treatments etc).
Face mists
I love face mists, they are a wonderful nice to do add on in the winter to layer hydration. BUT they are not essential you could use a heavier moisturiser in the winter to save adding an extra step if you want to keep it simple!
Eye creams
Again, another product I enjoy and use but you do not need a dedicated product if you do not want too, it’s a nice to do. You can bring your moisturiser and most serums right underneath your eyes, neglecting the need for an eye cream.
Face tools
I’m 50/50 on these, I think they are certainly nice to do’s if they feel good and you enjoy them butttt they aren’t really going to be doing any heavy work! If they are electrical, that is a different case entirely.
Remember, get your basics nailed, then add in your nice to do’s or skin specific concerns products in.

3 skincare product phases that need to die but WHY? 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
‘Shrinks your pore size’
❌ You can’t shrink your pore size. You can certainly minimise the appearance of them if your skin isn’t congested/clogged as your pores won’t be stretched so to speak. However, pore size is mostly genetic, no product is magically going to shrink them permanently!
‘Removes dark under eye circles’
❌Skincare can somewhat help the appearance dark circles but it’s never going to make a huge difference to them. Injectables are another matter and can certainly help BUT we cautious again as it does mostly come down to genetics.
‘Clinical strength’
❌ What does this even mean? Maximum strength? There’s only a limit of strength that certain products can be. If anything is ‘clinical’ it suggests it’s prescription strength which you would been a prescription for!
