How B2B companies think content works…🤣
❌Content should be converting to revenue after 6 videos
❌All videos should have company logos, fancy intros, and other annoying stuff the consumer absolutely hates
❌The purpose of the content is solely to "Gain attention" for the business and get more leads 🙄
❌Avoid anything remotely creative or original
How B2B companies should be thinking about content…
✅See content as a brand building move and as a way to build trust and relationships with customers, not just "Get attention"
✅Understand that content can and should be measured, but trying to convert after 6 videos is unrealistic and a set up for failure
✅Have a good read on what their customers want to see and hear about in their content (Relevant value not logos and sales pitches)
✅Are not scared to edu-tain and create original and engaging content their customers actually want to consume
And because of all of this….it actually converts into customers and revenue
Some companies get it. Some still don't

It costs $1,000,000/year to edit my videos
😲 just mine alone
IF I edited them myself
Thankfully I do not because I’ve learned how to leverage my time and resources as a business owner 😎
However, I spent the first 6 months of creating videos editing them myself until realized this: 😩
-I was stunting my growth by trying to be my own editor
-I was unable to post consistent (High quality) videos
-I had no way to repurpose videos (Long form to short form)
-I was "Saving" a little money but losing a TON of revenue in the process
If you're going to take video content seriously and use it as a 24-7 sales rep for your business, you're gonna need a full time video editor
This is not a COST
This is an INVESTMENT
Here's why:
If you posted high quality video content (Consistently) the next 12 months on multiple content channels AND brought it in your sales process…
It's not a question of IF you would win new business, it's a question of HOW MUCH
For most companies, winning just 2-3 new clients (On the low end) would be anywhere from 50k-100k life time value (Might even be much more for you)
And guess what? Video compounds
So whatever you did the first year, you can almost guarantee you're going to do more the following year because you're better and you've built brand!
So why would you sweat paying 54k/year for a highly trained video editor who can hit the ground running day one? (At least that's what we charge)
But if you are just curious what our editors use to edit my videos and our clients I'll tell ya :) 👇
📲Abobe Premier Pro
📲After Effects
📲Runway
📲Descript
📲And the various other AI based tools we experiment with
Because nowadays, you don’t just need an editor, you need an Editor/AI specialist, & creative storyteller all in one. This is where things are going, and FAST!
But why are some editors better than others?
It usually comes down to 1.) Talent + 2.) How you train, develop, and treat them
We provide our full time video editors salary, health benefits, ongoing training, a creative space to try (And fail) at new things, and bonuses. We do all of this so you don't have to worry about it :)

How to find and attract your customers on LinkedIn 👀
Spoiler alert:
❌They’re not in the comments
❌They’re not liking your posts
❌They’re not sharing your content publicly
(At least most of the time)
No. What they do instead is they LURK. And then they do things like this 👇
✅Share your content with other stakeholders (Privately)
✅Save links to your posts to come to back to later
✅Take screenshots of your content to learn from and implement
✅View your profile and see if you might be able to help them
All of these are BUYING signals, whether they actually engage with your content or not
Which is why it’s more important than ever that you do these few things to convert:
1.) Locate your potential customers (Sales Nav is great for this). Start engaging with with them on a weekly basis to get them in your feed and to start early conversations before they even see your content
2.) Create “Sharable” content. The surface level or “Random” content isn’t going to cut it. You need to be going a few levels deep with your audience and post content so good it get’s them to want to save, share, and screenshot it for later. Position yourself as the go-to expert in your space (And the only real choice)
3.) Ensure your profile is converted from a standard LinkedIn page, to a client-attracting Landing page
-Clear messaging speaking to the pain points and desires of your customers
-Social proof and recommendations that show you are the real deal
-Clear paths to conversions (Opportunities to consume more in depth content or go right into buying mode)
4.) Engage with other active creators here, even if they are not your ideal customers. Why? Because the engagers will help your post reach more of the lurkers :) (Engage with 10-15 posts per day at least)

2012 = 1.4 billion people on social media
2022 = 4.7 billion people on social media
2010 = 20% of people have smartphones
2021 = 71% of people have smartphones
Things have changed dramatically
Just look around you...
The next time that you're waiting in line somewhere, what do people do?
Next time you're driving somewhere, what do people do when they get to a stoplight?
The next time you're watching something on live TV and it cuts to a commercial break, what do people do?
Answer: PULL OUT THEIR SMARTPHONE AND CONSUME CONTENT
So here’s what this means for your business:
You are a content production company…FIRST
And whatever you sell….SECOND
The best businesses get this….they are evolving….and they are winning
And others are falling right into the trap of “This is how we’ve always done it”
I think we all know which companies will dominate the next 10 years though

Why every company should have a YouTube channel
1️⃣ Creating just 2 YouTube videos a month can build the foundation for a video content machine that gives you the following:
-2 long form videos/Month
-10 short form videos/Month
-2 blog posts/Month
-2 newsletters/Month
-2-4 LinkedIn text/picture posts/Month
-Endless website content
And yes, much of this content can be used to post on the LinkedIn company page if you wanted to (See what we did there?)
2️⃣ Your team can get involved
It’s a company YouTube channel, which means anyone on the team can jump in and create content at any time (Assuming it aligns with the channel goals)
You can use it for a podcast/interview style content or traditional videos. This also means you can invite prospects/customers on the show too :) (Instant revenue driver)
3️⃣ When your buyers search for content around your area of expertise, it will be YOUR content that shows up and helps educate them (And ultimately convert them)
Buyers are 60-80% sold by time they reach out to book a call because they've done their research via video and text content. YouTube is the largest video search engine. It's owned by Google. Got it?
But Alex, isn’t YouTube saturated? 👀
Not like you think it is
Go look at your niche, do some research, and ask yourself this:
How many B2B companies in your space are crushing with great thumbnails, title, and content…consistency!?
How many are using it to fuel all of their other content and channels and to drive revenue for their business?
(Crickets).....
PS: The content actually has to be GOOD and you need solid processes/systems. to execute. But that's why you hire me :)

How companies see "Video Content" in 2024 🤣
❌”Video can’t possibly win us new business”
❌”Everything we post on LinkedIn should promote our business”
❌”Our company logos and branding should be all over each video”
Now this skit video may be funny but this is actually happening in company meetings
Here’s a real life example:
I worked with a client who helped generate 2 large deals through his video content/LinkedIn presence
Both have the opportunities to be 3-5 million dollar/year accounts 🤯
One of them was an account they had been trying to win for 10+ years!
Amazing right!?
Yet, in the organization, it still isn’t being looked at as a legitimate strategy
And in some cases, he’s even been laughed at for creating videos
Folks, we have to change our perspective around this
-Your customers are on LinkedIn right? Yes
-Your customers watch videos, right? Yes
-Your customers want to be educated vs sold, right? Yes
-Video builds trust and credibility at a deeper level, right? Yes
Then why is video not a legitimate opportunity for you and your company?
If one employee can create this much opportunity for the company, imagine what 5 or 10 or 500 could do
If video content isn’t at least talked about in your 2024 revenue planning I can assure you this...
It’s not a question IF you're missing out on easy revenue, it’s only a matter of how much 👀
The phrase of 2024:
Your video content should be a 24-7 sales rep for your business.

This video was made by AI 🤖
This is not Alex
You may laugh at my artificial nature now
-My voice sounds different
-Sometimes my lips aren’t perfectly synced
-Alex’s personality is not fully captured yet
Yet…
Imagine me in 6-12 months
In 6-12 years
Here’s a few things you’ll want to keep your eye on as the AI and video content landscape changes drastically:
1.) The barrier to entry for video content will be lower, which means the sheer amount of video content will increase over time.
But when everyone can do basic AI videos, it will lose alot of its value and intrigue. And of course, the bar will naturally get raised by those who want to engage their audience in new and exciting ways (Outside of AI talking heads).
2.) Creativity will be at an all time high with everyone having a mini-creative assistant at their side (AI). For the lazy, this will be their crutch. For the creators and companies who dominate social, it will be a superpower.
Some of you have said I am not “Creative like a human” because I am a robot so tomorrow (Friday 11/10) I will prove you wrong with my next video. It will shock you.
3.) Software may be able to test if your video is created by AI… Until an AI software is created that helps you reverse engineer your videos to not be detected.
4.) Creating awareness/demand, and building trust/credibility will still be core fundamentals in any business.
5.) Video Editors will become creative directors (They already are in many ways). The ones that don’t adapt will be job-less.
6.) Maybe the real Alex returns…..maybe he doesn’t.
Time will tell.

Should you create content if your customers aren't on social media?
First of all, it’s 2023, nearly everyone is on social
But let’s pretend that your decision makers are NOT for a second
Here’s two reasons you’d still want to create content regardless
1️⃣You customer IS consuming content, it just might not be on a particular social platform. But riddle me this Batman, when they are going to buy a high ticket product/servcie, are they doing research? Are they comparing? Are they getting educated through content?
YES. So you can do that for them….or a competitor can do that for them. But who do you think they’ll most likely buy from?
2️⃣In many cases, it’s not the decision maker who first sees your content
Example: I often get on calls with CEOs/Owners that were first set up by someone who influencers them. A director of operations, a CMO, a co-founder, etc. Two weeks ago I signed a new client where his WIFE found me on TikTok and recommended we speak. This is the world we live in now, like it or not
