This is the year. After the hardest two years and everything around me feeling like it was falling apart in summer of 2022 when the loneliness and isolation finally got to me - from becoming a mum in a country other than my own with no other support other than my husband (and sometimes I’m not sure how I survived) - im grateful for:
- Our first trips to stores with them being both doable and fun with my dear and spirited two year old boy
- Being parents and going on adventures is becoming more and more fun for us in general
- My son is finally saying more words despite his speech delay and I’m slowly meeting him and learning about him more each day
- im a totally different person now. I’m proud of who I am as a person and mother, with patience love and parenting I never imagined I would need or be capable of
- I feel so positive and magnetic! I now making friends randomly in any store I walk into and actually hang out afterwards 😆
- My husband and I are closer than ever and in a new honeymoon phase after some of our darkest times as parents without support
I now know I will be the soft sweet old lady who will help anyone (especially new parents) I see in a store or out and about struggling. I didn’t have that and I don’t want anyone else to go through what we did alone. I want better for the people who come after me.

I’m currently romanticizing my life and some of those things I never thought I would:
1. Keeping my nails done and accessorizing bc I don’t spend time on makeup at all
2. Embracing the awkward pixie grow out and again accessorizing my hair like I’m in a 90s pop video (anyone remember b*witched?!)
3. Embracing the start of content creation and my season 1 Michael Scott era - I find people’s beginnings much more interesting and relatable than the arrival and blow up personally so I’m documenting my whole journey including the baby influencer era 😄
4. Skincare with my little bougie beauty fridge even if I spend one minute doing a skincare routine at least I feel special while I do it 😅
5. Bath time with all the extra snacks drinks and book 📖
6. Having fun doing unboxings with my cute opener ring! Has me feeling glam while doing hard work of opening presents daily 😂
