i’ll post here what i posted on instagram: this trip to the US has been madness, possibly most of all because i got to meet & hang out with my hero david byrne & some of his friends after seeing his wonderful broadway show here lies love. i was talking to my friend alena about it today & i have lived such a blessed life and if i were to die tomorrow (i would like not to), i could already say that i had a rich and full life full of very significant events, achievements, and most importantly, friends and loved ones. if my career all went bust i would still feel like i did the impossible because in many ways i have. very grateful for all of you, my fans, who have brought me to this moment, and very grateful to david who has been very friendly, helpful, and generous with his time. ❤️ #davidbyrne #talkingheads #DOmeetyourheroes
