Where do you keep your ugly sketches? In a drawer? In a forgotten folder in your computer? Old me probably would never even consider showing this, but the new me thinks there’s beauty in the first idea of a design. It’s the seed to the eventual flower.
I used to start my designs directly on Illustrator, but now I’m becoming savvier and start with a sketch on paper. With that said, at least I have a very interesting first sketch of the Ferris Wheel to show for (already as a vector because I’m insane). You can see how much the design has changed for the better, and in the end that’s all that matters.
