SPIRITSAVER a psychedelic R&B duo based in Toronto and consisting of multi-platinum, Grammy-Nominated producer Zale (known for his work with Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, and Childish Gambino) and Nigerian-Canadian recording artist Tajudeen, are excited to announce the release of their new single "Threats".
Threats lyrically explores a relationship torn between love, doubt and desire. This song was produced by Grammy-Nominated Producer Zale (Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Nicki Minaj) and Juno Nominated Producer Jackson Willows (The Beaches, Ruby Waters, Nonso Amadi).
In partnership with their record label and art collective, THIS IS YOUR BRAIN ON PLANTS, SPIRITSAVER is not only marking the launch of their latest single "Threats," but also unveiling their first merch drop.
SPIRITSAVER Rework Vintage Hat: Showcasing a fusion of vintage aesthetics and modern flair, these snapbacks capture the essence of SPIRITSAVER's unique style. Each hat has been thoughtfully curated from vintage hats, reimagined, and features the duo's logo, sustainably printed over existing vintage graphics, for a unique, 1-of-1, experience. The band personally curated, designed and printed the snapbacks along with Stacey Lee.
"We’re big believers of only releasing what we 100% love, be it our music or our merchandise. Our passion for thrifting inspired us to personally curate these hats. We love the double layered print with our SPIRITSAVER logo,” reveals Zale of SPIRITSAVER.
SPIRITSAVER's rise to prominence is anchored in their individual achievements. Zale, mentored by the legendary music producer Boi-1da, has an impressive career that spans collaborations with Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, and Childish Gambino. He has amassed a catalog of Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum certified productions, solidifying his status as one of the industry's brightest talents. Tajudeen, on the other hand, brings a wealth of experience garnered from working alongside renowned producers Cool & Dre, Boi-1da, and Koz.
