“Smoking Section.”
I’m painting the collaged vintage cigarette ads from magazines spread across the 50s 60s and 70s with acrylic paint.
This project is near and dear to me. It has been in the works for three years now, and it’s finally coming to fruition.
I first saw a Vincent Van Gogh‘s
“Skull with a cigarette.” perusing a coffee table book in Napa Valley, California. Ever since that moment, I knew that this was going to be something I had to re-interpret in a unique way.
Shout out to my buddy Tim who commissioned this piece.
