Yup. Learning to recover is kinda like learning to tie your shoes. You learn to tie your shoes so that you can tie them whenever you need to. You don’t learn so that your shoes stay tied forever. We learn to navigate through anxiety and we learn that we can handle being anxious and afraid so that we can do that whenever we might need to! Shoot at the right target in recovery. It’ll make a difference, especially when trying to avoid the “relapse” and “square one” traps.💜
