Beer & Bites for $15
Lloydminster Edition Part 3!
We had a busy day! Starting off at Indian Kitchen with Parathas/faratas. Delicious Indian comfort food & a pint Border Porter = $12-13
Original Joe’s is a bit pricier but still a great place for a beer and a bite. We shared chicken gyoza with a yummy chili sauce. We each had a sleeve of B League sour. Our total bill was $30 ($15 each) and the gyoza was nice shareable bite.
We hit up Mr. Bills for some classics. The soups here are fantastic. Avegolemono (lemon rice) soup is my all time fave! The French Onion is also solid. Have a soup and a can of Pig Launcher for $14-16!
We ended our tour at Sticks Billiard & Lounge. This is such a fun place to hang out. They had lots of inexpensive food options. We could’ve had a pint with onion rings or a hot dog for less than $15 but we wanted wings. Which happened to be the most expensive combo and it still only came to $16.31!
We finished our day with some games and lots of laughs!

1. Cheers - we each tried something different! 4M/Ribstone draught is on special on Wednesdays! Bachelor Blonde is a nice clean pairing for the savoury Classic Poutine. Raspberry berliner weisse pairs with whatever the hell you want it to! So the other two opted for housemade soup and breadsticks. Both were very satisfied!
2. Days Hotel Players Lounge - go for a sleeve to save a couple bucks! Sweet potato fries were great! Thin, crispy and awesome for snacking on while sippin a Rig Up Red!
3. New Delhi has a large selection on Indian/fusion dishes - There were actually quite a few things on the menu we could’ve tried for $15 but we were feeling full by this point. I always love veg samosas with tamarind sauce. I grew up on these things so I’m a little biased. The maltiness of the Rig Up Red offers a nice balance with the spices of the samosas (and other Indian dishes).

2. Social Hour at Brown’s Social House - crusted yam and avocado roll with Ribstone Creek Thunder Alley Pilsner. Light and tasty! Great for sharing!
3. Montana’s BBQ - Ribstone Creek Raspberry Berliner Weisse and soup of the day! Today’s soup was a delicious, savoury tomato.
4. Bennigan’s Irish Pub - it’s like stepping back in time here! Wings are always top notch. Lemon pepper paired perfectly with our citrusy Sparky IPA. It wasn’t wing night so we went slightly over budget. But it was worth it!
